An Oklahoma Senate bill seeks to raise the fee for most medical marijuana business licenses from $2,500 to $10,000, said Tulsa medical marijuana attorney Stephen Cale.

Sen. Marty Quinn (R-Claremore) introduced his SB 1520 on January 15. The fee increase would apply only to dispensary, grower and processor licenses, Cale said. Fees for transporter and lab testing licenses would remain at $2,500.

SB 1250 also includes other “clean-up” language. Read a complete copy of the bill.

The Oklahoma Legislature convenes February 3rd. If passed into law, the bill would be effective on Nov. 1, 2020, Cale said.
